In the manufacturing process of the motor, the factors that may cause the motor vibration will be reduced and eliminated through measures such as rotor dynamic balancing, winding insulation treatment, and component matching tolerance adjustment. Especially for motors with higher speeds, the allowable unbalance control and the adjustment of the speed during the balancing process will be adopted in the dynamic balancing stage to minimize the vibration factors of the rotor part; in the test stage of the motor, necessary screening measures will also be taken to control the quality.
In the application stage of the motor, when the motor is found to have vibration problems, an objective analysis and evaluation should be carried out to eliminate any factors that may cause the motor vibration and take targeted measures.
Recently, I have come across two cases of vibration during the application of the motor. Both cases were problems found during the delivery and installation of the maintenance motor. The motor users naturally believed that it was caused by the failure to properly handle the motor body. In fact, the motor was strictly inspected and tested before delivery, and no obvious vibration problems were found. For such problems, we should carefully investigate other aspects other than the motor body. Experienced netizens also put forward their own views on this issue.
When vibration problems occur in motor applications, the most direct method is to separate the motor from the equipment and inspect and determine the motor vibration separately. However, special attention should be paid to the reliability and stability of the motor mounting base. If there is a problem with the motor, solve the problem of the motor body, otherwise other causes should be analyzed.
After eliminating the quality problem of the motor body, a comprehensive inspection and analysis should be conducted on the installation foundation of the motor and equipment, the connection status of the motor or equipment and the foundation, and the docking status of the motor and equipment, and targeted measures should be taken.
In the test of the motor, vibration speed is more often used for inspection and judgment, while in the application of the motor, some customers use vibration displacement for evaluation, but no matter which method is used, the vibration values of the two are positively correlated, and need to be monitored and controlled according to specific standards and usage requirements.
