1. Detection of explosion-proof motor before use
1.1 For newly installed and long-term unused motors, the insulation resistance of the winding to the housing must be measured before use, and must not be lower than the standard provisions, otherwise the motor must be dried until the insulation resistance meets the requirements.
1.2 Carefully check whether all the fastening bolts are tightened, whether the spring washer is lost, whether the components of the explosion-proof shell are properly connected, whether the grounding is reliable, and whether the connection between the motor terminal and the cable is reliable. If any improper part is found, it should be dealt with in time.
1.3 Check whether the specifications and capacity of the explosion-proof starting equipment equipped with the motor meet the requirements, whether the wiring is correct, whether the operation of the starting device is flexible, whether the contact is good, and whether the metal shell of the starting equipment is reliably grounded.
1.4 Check whether the three-phase power supply voltage is normal, whether the voltage is too high, too low, or the three-phase voltage is asymmetric.
1.5 According to the size of the motor current, the use of conditions, the correct selection of rubber cable for mining. According to the outer diameter of the cable, the rubber sealing ring introduced into the device is stripped of a similar size of the aperture, and then the cable is inserted into the pressure disc -- metal washer -- sealing ring -- metal washer in turn. Connect the cable core wire to the terminal post. The cable core wire should be placed between two bow washers or a cable crimping plate, and the ground core wire should be placed between the bow washers of the ground screw. The cable core wire should be securely connected to ensure good contact and electrical gap. After connecting the wire, check whether there is debris, dust in the junction box, whether the connection is in line with the provisions of the power supply voltage and the motor nameplate, and confirm that it is correct before tightening the junction box cover. The cable leading into the junction box is secured to the junction box bucket with a clamp to prevent the cable from pulling out.
2. Inspection and maintenance personnel in the use of explosion-proof motors should often pay attention to the temperature rise of the motor, which should not be used more than the temperature rise, and do not run over the load; When the motor is running, the bearing temperature should be checked frequently, and the bearing should be checked at least once for 2500h. When the grease deteriorates, it must be replaced in time. Clean up the waste oil in the bearing inner and outer cover injection and oil discharge device to achieve clean and smooth, the bearing needs to be cleaned with gasoline, and the grease uses No. 3 lithium grease.
