Temperature sensors are widely used in microwave ovens, air conditioners, range hoods, hair dryers, induction ovens, frying pans, air heaters, refrigerators, freezers, water heaters, water dispensers, dishwashers, disinfection cabinets, washing machines, dryers, medium and low temperature drying ovens, thermostats and other household appliances, thermometers Portable non-contact infrared temperature thermometer and many other aspects.
In motor production and processing equipment, thermocouples are commonly used in ovens for winding heating and drying. Thermocouples are also used in the temperature detection and control process of motor body operation.
The principle of thermocouple temperature measurement is thermoelectric effect. When two homogeneous conductors with different components form a closed circuit, if there is a temperature difference between the two ends, there is a thermoelectric potential between the two ends, and there is current in the circuit. The magnitude of thermoelectric potential is only related to the temperature difference between the two ends and the materials constituting the Thermoelectrode, but has nothing to do with the length and diameter of the Thermoelectrode.
The thermocouple sensor is connected with the display instrument to realize multi-point centralized display and recording. It can also form an automatic control system with the control instrument to realize automatic detection or automatic temperature adjustment. The temperature measuring end of special thermocouple for motor is made of stainless steel or ceramic material, which is similar to PTC and has the characteristics of simple structure, durability and convenient installation.
The thermocouple adopts materials and advanced technology with good high temperature resistance and thermal conductivity. It has fast thermal response, wide measurement temperature range and good long-term stability. It is convenient for long-distance, multi-point, centralized measurement and automatic control.
When thermocouples are used as temperature sensing elements for motor windings, the thermocouple temperature sensor shall be installed in the winding. The sensor lead shall not bear tensile force, and the lead shall be connected in the motor junction box; When installing the bearing temperature measuring thermocouple temperature sensor, the screw hole shall be drilled on the bearing seat according to the thread matching size and tightened. The temperature measuring end face of the sensor shall contact the outer ring of the bearing, and the lead wire shall be connected in the junction box of the motor.
