Why are ordinary motors not suitable for direct use in crane
source:未知 time:2025-02-12 15:20nbsp; click:
The main reason why ordinary motors are not suitable for direct use in cranes is that cranes have special requirements for motors, including but not limited to starting, braking, speed regulation, load, torque and synchronization. Here are some specific reasons:
Starting and braking requirements: Cranes require strong starting torque and accurate braking control when lifting and placing heavy objects. Ordinary motors usually cannot provide such large starting torque and precise braking performance.
Speed regulation requirements: Cranes require different speeds in different working stages to ensure work efficiency and safety. For example, there is a big difference in speed during lifting and placement. The ordinary speed regulation performance of ordinary motors is difficult to meet this precise demand.
Load and torque control: The burden of cranes varies greatly, and ordinary motors are difficult to cope with such large load changes.
Working environment: Cranes usually work outdoors or in extreme environments, which puts higher requirements on the waterproof, dustproof, cold-proof, heat-resistant and other properties of the motor. Ordinary motors may not be able to work stably under these conditions.
For the above reasons, ordinary motors are not suitable for direct use in cranes. When designing or selecting motors suitable for cranes, it is necessary to consider the above special requirements and select specially designed lifting motors to ensure the safety and efficiency of the crane.
