EMA WPII is one of the motor design standards, which is mainly used to describe the motor's housing protection level and cooling method.

Introduction to NEMA Standards

Meaning of WPII

WP: stands for Weather Protected, which means that the motor has protection functions such as rain and dust.

II: Indicates that the motor's housing protection level is IP24, that is, the protection level for protection against solid foreign objects is level 2, and the protection level for protection against liquid intrusion is level 4.
