The main function of impregnated paint for motor winding is to fill the gap between winding turns, between winding and insulation and related parts to the greatest extent, enhance the insulation performance of conductor, solidify it into a very solid whole, and improve the electrical strength, mechanical properties, thermal conductivity and protection performance of electrical coil insulation, To resist the adverse electrical and mechanical effects during motor operation.
The basic requirements of impregnating paint for motor winding can be summarized as follows:
(1) the viscosity of impregnating paint is low but the solid content is high to ensure good permeability and paint hanging amount;
(2) The dipping paint has good stability in storage and use;
(3) The curing and drying characteristics of the paint are better. In order to cope with the fast-paced production, the impregnating paint is required to cure quickly, have good internal drying characteristics, and form a solid whole consistent inside and outside in a short time and relatively low temperature;
(4) It is required that the bonding strength of impregnated paint is high, so that electrical equipment can withstand higher speed and mechanical force impact;
(5) It has good compatibility with other constituent materials and can resist the influence of environmental changes.
With the development of polymer materials and the different needs of the development of motor technology, the overall development direction of motor insulation paint is as follows: from natural resin to synthetic resin, from solvent-free type to solvent-free type and water solvent type; From low heat-resistant grade to high heat-resistant grade; From lower performance to higher performance and special performance.
With the gradual promotion and implementation of the national environmental protection policy, people's awareness of environmental protection in the process of motor production, processing and use is also increasing. Waterborne insulating paint has been gradually used in the fields of high and low frequency transformers, large transformer coil impregnation and coating, hub motors, series excitation motors, industrial motors, air conditioning motors, DC permanent magnet motors and electric tool motors. However, from the performance compliance of motor winding and some problems that may occur in the process of use, more application cases may be needed to verify and make necessary improvements.
