After the motor product is stored in a non-operating state for a certain period of time, the winding insulation may be damp. If the motor is operated in this state, the motor may be broken down and burned due to insufficient insulation strength. For small motors, especially those that are easy to disassemble, the winding drying process is relatively easy. For large-sized products, a drying device must be added to the winding part in advance to ensure that the winding can be dried when necessary.
Moisture-proof heating tape is a commonly used drying attachment for large motors. Before the motor is assembled, the heating tape is fixed to the end of the winding. Motor manufacturers and users can use the drying device according to actual conditions. However, it should be noted that the heating device should work when the motor is not running. Another problem is that the heating tape itself should not overlap when it is fixed. During the binding process, it is also necessary to ensure that the heating tape does not move relative to each other to prevent the heating tape itself from being damaged or causing damage to the winding.
Heating belt is suitable for heating and heat preservation of tanks, pipes, tanks and other containers of various industrial equipment. It is mainly composed of electric heating materials and insulating materials. The electric heating material is nickel-chromium alloy belt, which has the characteristics of fast heating, high thermal efficiency and long service life. The insulating material is multi-layer alkali-free glass fiber, which has good temperature resistance and reliable insulation performance. It has a soft structure and can be directly wrapped around the surface of the heated part for heating. It has uniform temperature, simple installation, convenient use, safety and reliability.
The biggest limitation of electric heating belts is the temperature. The heating temperature of the silicone rubber of the heating belt in the no-load state is about 200 degrees, and the temperature can only reach 250 degrees when in use. This temperature limits the use range of the heating belt. Another limitation is the heating power. The power of the heating belt is generally not too large, which limits the heating speed of the heating belt, making it rarely used to heat flowing objects, because the loss of heat makes it impossible to replenish it in a short time.
The biggest disadvantage of the heating belt is the heating temperature and heating speed, and the biggest feature of the heating belt is its softness, so in some special occasions, it is irreplaceable by many heating methods.
